DTAC 2025
The District Toastmasters Annual Conference is one of the most exciting and significant events in the Toastmasters calendar. It serves as a platform for members to network, learn, compete, and celebrate achievements within the district. The conference encourages personal and professional development, enhances the sense of community within the district, and provides inspiration and motivation to continue the Toastmasters journey.
District 116 Toastmasters Annual Conference (DTAC) is a two-day extravaganza of the members, by the members and will be held on 23-24 May 2025. The theme for the year 2025 is “Amplify your voice“.
Purpose of the Annual Conference
- Recognition and Celebration:
Celebrate the accomplishments of clubs, members, and leaders within the district.
Recognize milestones, awards, and Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) achievers. - Educational Opportunities:
Offer workshops, keynote speeches, and training sessions led by experienced speakers and trainers.
Provide insights into leadership, communication, and personal development. - Speech Contests:
Host district-level finals of the International Speech Contest and other contests (like Table Topics, Evaluation, or Humorous Speech, depending on the district’s schedule).
Showcase top speakers competing to represent the district at higher levels. - Networking:
Facilitate connections between Toastmasters from various clubs and divisions within the district.
Create opportunities for members to exchange ideas, share experiences, and form lasting relationships. - Leadership Development:
Inspire future leaders by providing exposure to district leaders and their roles.
Promote the value of stepping into leadership positions within Toastmasters.
